If you are a parent / carer of someone who has a learning disability, this is your opportunity to get involved and have a say. This national project is being undertaken on behalf of the four UK Chief Nursing Officers, and aims to develop a UK-wide professional framework to modernise and enhance the image, profile and contribution of learning disability nursing.
It will ensure learning disability nurses use and develop their specialist knowledge and skills to maximise their contribution to providing the best possible health outcomes for people with a learning disability throughout the UK. The Department of Health, Social Services and Public Safety (DHSSPS) invite you to attend a facilitated workshop.
