We’re here for you: An information and support day for people affected by terminal illness in Belfast Marie Curie is working with Belfast City Council to run an information and support day for people affected by terminal illnesses.
Taking place on 8th October 2018, 10am - 2pm in Belfast City Hall, we want to raise awareness of the impact of living with a terminal illness, the help and support available to patients and their loved ones, and the benefits of talking openly about death and dying within families and communities in Belfast.
The event is open to the general public and representatives from a wide range of organisations, including Belfast Health and Social Care Trust, Carers NI and the Alzheimer's Society, will be in attendace to provide information and answer questions.
There will also be a number of dedicated information sessions held throughout the day, covering areas like help with benefits, support for carers and information about dementia.
It is critical that people living with terminal illnesses and their loved ones get the care and support they need, when they need it. We would encourage anyone affected to come along on 8th October and find out about the support available in Belfast and how to access it.
