The GMC Consent Consultation - When is your consent needed?

The GMC has launched a consultation on their draft updated Consent guidance, which outlines what doctors should consider when making decisions about treatment and care with their patients. Here's what they have to say…

We have now launched a consultation on our draft updated Consent guidance, which outlines what doctors should consider when making decisions about treatment and care with their patients.

We want to hear from all those who will use it on the frontline, day in day out, to make sure the guidance helps doctors and patients have good conversations about their care.

We also want to know what other resources would be useful to support doctors and patients in discussing treatment and care... together.

Share your views at http://bit.ly/2yziaRc to make sure the guidance helps doctors and patients have good conversations about their care.

Tell us what matters to you before the deadline on 23 January 2019.
