Patient and Client Council informs HSC Review: Greater focus, more support and better information for patients.

Maeve Hully, Chief Executive of the Patient and Client Council says

The Patient and Client Council has told the Health and Social Care Review team what over 15000 people in Northern Ireland have said about the future of Health and Social Care services.

“There is no doubt people value the Health and Social Care services they receive.  People have told us they want a greater focus on community care for vulnerable groups, more support for carers and better information on how to access Out of Hours services.  We want the Health and Social Care Review team to listen to what people are saying and ensure their views are reflected in the Review.”

The Patient and Client Council will continue to work with patients, clients, carers and communities to inform key decision makers on what people want and need from their Health and Social Care services.
