The Bamford Monitoring Group has been set up by the Patient and Client Council. Its role is to ask people about the effect of changes being made to services as a result of the Bamford Review of Mental Health and Learning Disability.
The Group is going out and about in Northern Ireland to gather the views of people about a range of issues effecting people with a learning disability and families. At the ‘Our Stories’ events we will talk about: access to Respite (short breaks), Day Opportunities, Further Education, Training and Employment, and Resettlement from Long Stay Hospitals.
