The Patient and Client Council will shortly be celebrating a significant milestone. In our blog this week, Glynis Henry explains some of the preparations…
On Monday 1st April 2019 the Patient and Client Council turns 10 years old. Established in 2009, the PCC was created to provide a powerful, independent voice for service users and carers within the Health and Social Care family in Northern Ireland. During the last decade we’ve spoken to, supported, engaged and involved tens of thousands of people across the province.
Throughout the month of April and beyond we plan on marking our 10th Birthday by celebrating some of the significant achievements we have made working in partnership with people like you. We also want you to help us celebrate! We are very keen to hear from members who have had a positive experience in working with us. This may have been through our Complaints Support Service, or perhaps through one of the many involvement opportunities you’ve taken part in through our Membership Scheme. No matter what part of our service it involved, or whether you’re been involved with us from the beginning or recently, we want to hear it.
We will be using the stories you share with us to help spread the word of the work we’ve done over the last decade!
If you have a story you’d like to share with us, please email it to:
If you aren’t already following us on social media, why not take the opportunity to ‘like’ and ‘follow’ now to be kept up-to-date with all our birthday celebrations:
NOTE: We are having problems with our comments system on our blog and would like to extend an apology to people who have previously experienced issues. The PCC will soon be launching a new revamped website and so we have decided to disable commenting on the blog until our new site launches. In the meantime, if you are still keen to share your views on what you've read, why not tweet us @PatientClient or email us at: firstname.lastname@example.org
Sorry. We are no longer taking comments for this item.
