On Monday 1st April 2019 the Patient and Client Council turns 10 years old. Established in 2009, the PCC was created to provide a powerful, independent voice for service users and carers within the Health and Social Care family in Northern Ireland. During the last decade we’ve spoken to, supported, engaged and involved tens of thousands of people across the province.
Throughout the month of April and beyond we plan on marking our 10th Birthday by celebrating some of the significant achievements we have made working in partnership with people like you. We also want you to help us celebrate! We are very keen to hear from members who have had a positive experience in working with us. This may have been through our Complaints Support Service, or perhaps through one of the many involvement opportunities you’ve taken part in through our Membership Scheme. No matter what part of our service it involved, or whether you’re been involved with us from the beginning or recently, we want to hear it.
We will be using the stories you share with us to help spread the word of the work we’ve done over the last decade!
