The Health and Social Care Board is asking members of the public to get involved in helping to improve how complaints are handled in health and social care.
A public workshop has been organised for Tuesday 14 May 2013, the purpose of which will be to seek the views and opinions of those who have made complaints across the health and social care system since 1 April 2009, or those who wanted to complain, but did not. Attendees will be invited to take part in a Northern Ireland-wide group to help improve how service user feedback can best be captured by the health and social care sector, and to develop a means of doing this on an on-going basis. Complaints provide an opportunity to make improvements based on lessons learned.
The workshop will be held on Tuesday 14 May 2013 in HSCB Headquarters, 12-22 Linenhall Street, Belfast at 7pm.
