Versus Arthritis is the UK's largest charity dedicated to supporting people with arthritis. Versus Arthritis Northern Ireland are launching a pilot programme in six locations across the UK, and Belfast is one of the specially selected sites. They want to work with you to create a bespoke local network for your area, a touchpoint with Versus Arthritis that meets your specific needs.
Versus Arthritis have said:
“Your local knowledge and input are crucial. To make this a success we need to co-design with key local individuals and groups (e.g. people affected by MSK, local healthcare professionals, volunteers and Versus Arthritis staff) about what your Local Touchpoint should look like and intend to deliver.
We understand what it’s like for the 17.8 million people across the UK living with the pain and isolation of arthritis and related conditions. It can stop you being able to work, live independently and it affects people of all ages and backgrounds.
We know local networks and communities can have a hugely positive impact in supporting people with arthritis; enabling peer support and better connections with local healthcare providers. But we need to do more and we can’t do it alone.
We’d like you to help us to understand what is important to you and your community.
We are inviting you to take part in 2 workshops in Belfast. A light meal will be provided and expert facilitation from Aleron, a social impact consultancy.
Workshop 1: Wednesday, 5 June 17:30 to 21:00 @Work West Enterprise Agency: What does a Local Touchpoint need to be for Belfast?
